Tourism Bowen
is a committee of the Bowen Island Chamber of Commerce. It was formed in November of 2007 with representatives from BIAC (Bowen Island Arts Council), Recreation, The Golf Course, Restaurants, Retails, Transit, Accommodation and most recently, The Municipality. We are set to implement the initiatives outlined in the Bowen Tourism Plan with the goal to manage visitation, be respectful of residents and seek to establish tourism as a key economic sector on the island. Bowen Island is also a participant in Tourism BC's CTF Program (Community Tourism Foundations) and Vancouver Coast and Mountains Tourism Region partner.
